SINGER/SONGWRITER/MUSICIAN
Ruby Jaye is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Northern CA. Originally from Los Angeles, she began performing as a blues and ragtime pianist at age 9, and won accolades from former California Governor Gray Davis (2000). As an adult, Ruby has blossomed as a vocalist, songwriter, performer, instrument coach, and mentor for young, aspiring musicians. From her original music to philanthropic work and side projects, Ruby has been featured on Capital Public Radio (NPR) and Good Day Sacramento, and has performed at The Sofia - Home of B Street Theater (Sacramento, CA), Whittier College (Whittier, CA), Camp Deep End (Navarro, CA), Hot & Sweet Music Festival (Los Angeles, CA), and Sleeping Giant Music Festival, (Helena, MT). Current projects include an all-original EP in production (to be released in late 2024), vocals/keys in the Jessica Malone Band, vocals/keys in Gold Fashioned (acoustic duo with Aaron Sion), private instrument instruction and workshops, and live performances around Sacramento, Napa, and Reno/Tahoe.
